it's not like missing a friend
or a lover

i'm not entirely distraught
or unable to live my life
but there's this sort of
empty space

where you all would be


the one who watched out
for me and my girlfriends
the one who always had
a smile and hugs to give
the logical one who could
calmly handle what i couldn't
and the wolf who hasn't left
my side since the age of three


it's not like missing a friend
or a lover

it's like missing a piece of
yourself

and that's what it is when
you really think about it
you're all part of me and
when you're not here you
have part of me with you

and i'm not mad or anything
nor do i blame you for not
being around because i know
you can't really control it

but if you can hear me
i miss you
